Kirstin MacLeod | Corporate Communications
Joined RCKT in: April, 2015
From: I´ve lived in Berlin since 2011, I grew up in a small town in northern Germany called Wolfenbüttel – Jägermeister is brewed here, and only here!
Previously: I just finished my politics degree at the Freie Universität Berlin and the University of Edinburgh. Besides studying I worked as a freelance journalist (Wirtschaftswoche, dpa, Die Welt) and interned at a political communications consultancy (fischerAppelt).
Currently: At RCKT. I am supporting the corporate communications team of Rocket Internet with day-to-day tasks and ongoing projects. (Not sure that I can spill the beans here already, but there are many exciting things to come!)
What brought you to RCKT?: My passion for Berlin’s startup scene and a curiosity about working with people who can think big and outside of the box at the same time.
On weekends in Berlin you’ll find me: Enjoying long coffees with friends in Mitte or Prenzlauer Berg. Milchhalle on Auguststraße does great things with caffeine and cake…
App I can’t live without: VSCOcam – a photo-editing service – is probably my favorite app. Makes those #coffeegrams look even better on Instagram – which equally I wouldn´t like to live without.
