We welcomed Bruno Park to RCKT. earlier this month, and the São Paulo, Brazil, native has already impressed with his creative, design and branding talents. What’s interesting to us is where he finds a lot of his inspiration – Instagram. His follows are a mixture of professional photographers and curated accounts, but the key theme is the clean lines and minimalistic look to the photos. With a little humour thrown in as well.
We recently asked Bruno to share some of his favourites. So he noted the nine accounts he pays particular attention to, with emphasis on urban, style, food and landscape photography. And cats. In wigs.
- Joerg Nicht (better known as jn) – Joerg is a really cool German photographer (based in Berlin) I’ve been following for almost two years. It’s even more interesting now to see his pictures since I moved here
- RedHongyi – A Malaysian artist who “loves to paint, but not with a paintbrush.” Runs her own design studio and curates a feed with stunning examples of her work.
- Alexis Diaz – Alexis is a Puerto Rican artist/photographer whose work focuses on street murals. I really love the darkness of his captures.
- Post the People – This curated feed showcases stylish, interesting people from around the world. The focus is on the things in life important to them.
- Freunde von Freunden (friends of friends) – Really interesting concept. FvF shoots both creatives and their workspaces and provides quick interviews about their processes.
- ImpossibleCool – Classic photos of style icons from around the world. Good if you need a reminder how uncool you are in comparison.
- MiniStyleHacker – Speaking of people I’ll never be as stylish as … this kid! Seriously, I’m amazed someone so young is able to express himself with clothes like this.
- Mensweardog – A Shiba Inu with impeccable taste. How can you not love this?
- Cansei de ser gato – Okay so it’s cats. So what? Cat’s move the needle on the internet, particularly cats dressed like people.
