A first for the RCKT. Workplace Essentials – a farewell laydown. Meghan Gannon joined us for the past few months as an intern from Northeastern University in Boston and now she’s headed back to lovely New England to finish her education. But she brought a great spirit to the agency to go along with the American witticisms. So as a goodbye of sorts, we had her put together the tools and toys that were an essential part of her time here.

Headphones

Music is essential (especially during global rankings). As much as I’d love a pair of cool hipster over-the-ear headphones, this is all I’ve got for now.

Frisbee

I play ultimate frisbee at my university in Boston, so I had to bring my disc with me to Berlin. I had big dreams of starting a RCKT frisbee team, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen any time soon. For now I’m more than happy to toss outside during lunch to get some fresh air.

Peanut butter

Peanut butter is brain food. Peanut butter is power. (Yes, I’m American.)

Commonplace book

A commonplace book is a written jumble of quotes, poems, revelations, recipes, anything – totally unique to its owner. Not quite a journal, but just little ideas thrown in over time. I’ve been cataloguing favorite quotes for a while, several of which are from my personal bible Yes, Please by Amy Poehler. Keeping up with my commonplace book keeps me sharp, always on the lookout for a new punchy truth.

Pretty pen

Sometimes you need a pretty pen to write pretty things.

Bearlin tote

I will proudly tote my tote wherever I go after Berlin. This city is like nowhere else I’ve ever been before, and it’s given me such an amazing experience for the last five months. Plus, who doesn’t love a good pun?
