Bianka joined RCKT. in May 2015 as a rockstar PR intern and was immediately assigned to Team International. She moved back to her hometown Berlin after studying English and Business in Mannheim and loves every second of being back in “the most beautiful city in the world.” But not everything in life is as nice as the view from the new office at Gendarmenmarkt, so here are a few items that help her through the daily craziness.

1. Daniel Wellington watch

I was never a watch person, until I discovered Daniel Wellington watches and fell in love. Also, it’s really distracting using your phone for checking the time (you want to but then you see a message and reply and check Facebook and put your phone away and completely forget what time it was….you know how it goes). They’re pretty hyped at the moment which makes total sense as they are have such a classic, elegant look.

2. Hand lotion

Agency life can be very stressful, and whenever I need to relax, I have my secret weapon in the form of a hand lotion. It is from & Other Stories and the scent is Moroccan Mint which reminds me of my trip to Marrakech a while ago and always gets me in a good mood.

3. Club Mate

I don’t consider myself a hipster but I am a born-and-raised Berliner (a rare species nowadays) and so I love Club Mate. I admit, the taste took some time getting used to, but once you do it gets addictive. No idea if it’s actually as effective as people believe, but the placebo effect makes me more productive.

4. Old School iPod

My iPod is probably the most important item I own. It has 160GB storage and contains all the music that I’ve been listening to since I was 16. So yes, also some very embarrassing songs on there, but hey, we all have secrets. Unfortunately, it suffers from diseases of aging from time to time which I deny with all my power.

5. Magic wand

I am a really big, and I mean REALLY BIG, Harry Potter fan. I’m obsessed actually. I don’t remember where I got my red-blue-flashing-star-wand from, but it’s the closest thing I have to a real Hogwarts-style wand.
