Laura started at RCKT in April 2015 as a trainee and now works with Team “Young Guns.” She’s joins a handful of RCKT employees who are part of the Hannover-to-RCKT pipeline, which started with co-founder Nils Seger. Laura has two degrees from the University of Hannover, one in Public Relations (BA) and another in Communications Management (MA). The most interesting thing about Laura: she once interned in Malaysia in a condom factory as an internal communications specialist.

1) Rhino eraser

This is one of my favorites. It is actually an eraser but i don’t use it as one since it would loose its form. Why a rhino? Because it was the one closest looking to a dinosaur. And I dont think I need to explain what is great about dinosaurs.

2) Small globe

Working in the international team, it can be kind of tricky keeping track of where in the world you are currently operating, in which time zone and interview should be scheduled and how far across the world the companies already spread. Also I just like looking at maps and globes thinking of places I would like to travel to.

3) Old-school writing materials

Being part of an agency focusing on digital media does not mean that I don´t appreciate old-school paper and pencil items. I prefer writing notes on paper to organizing just digitally, since you have everything important always in eye sight and crossing out things or colouring them is just so much fun as well. The personalized note pad was a gift and writing notes and contact details on this with the quill can be a nice alternative to handing out standardized business cards.

4) Detox Tea

I drink lots of tea since after drinking more than two cups of coffee a day I become some kind of overexcited Micky Mouse. So really, this one is just in favour of my teammates.
