We often refer to our talented interns at RCKT as rockstars. But in the case of Tobi Westermann it’s more than just a compliment. The Hannover native not only manages to juggle university and an internship (commuting two days a week from his hometown to Berlin) but in the summer he packs up his guitar and goes off on tour, playing a variety of venues across Germany. We only hope that Tobi remembers us when he’s world famous.

Here are the items Tobi uses to keep the creativity flowing.

1. Moleskine Notebook

As both a comms manager and musician I’m constantly surrounded by ideas. In my opinion Moleskine notebooks are an elegant way to save those ideas and thoughts. A white sheet of paper and a good pen open the door to creativity and structured chaos.

2. Terre d’Hermès

In my opinion, the best performance is based on feeling good! Fragrances are the invisible accessories that help to feel confident. My perfect gentleman fragrance should be an elegant spicy and woodsy scent.

3. Coffee

Italy is one of my favorite countries in the world. I do not drink coffee perk myself up (ok..sometimes…really often), For me, it is part of a lifestyle, an enjoyable drink.

4. Skull Ring

Since I started touring and playing in studios, the skull ring has became a big part of my personality. It gives me positive energy and strength. No matter where I happen to find myself, I want to incorporate Rock’n Roll in my look.

5. Sunglasses

Everybody has sunglasses, nothing special. For me, it sometimes a way to create some distance. You can observe your environment and think about it without looking silly.

6. Smartphone

I work with an Android smartphone. I sometimes feel like I’m the last of the Mohicans in a world full of Apple products. While every new smartphone in the market seems to get bigger – like a tablet – I really love the compactness of my smartphone. It has a really smart design and fits well to my style.
